Retreats

We Design Your Experience

Every group arrives at Casa Corazón de Viento with a different intention. Some come to celebrate, others need to pause and rest, connect with nature, learn something new, or simply share time with their loved ones. Whatever your purpose, we create tailor-made gatherings for groups of 4 or more.

We strive to make every stay in San Rafael a transformative journey. Therefore, we combine the landscape, health care, and respect for ancestral traditions in a space that honors the land and the ecosystem surrounding us. We want to offer you a harmonious refuge where you can disconnect in order to reconnect.

Tell us what you wish to experience, and we will design it together. Below are our “gems” of retreats.

Retreat Season

March · October · November

Andean Cosmovision and Earth Rituals

  • Ancestral Wisdom
An experiential introduction to pre-Columbian Andean cosmovision. We share Andean codes, the principles of Mother Earth (Pachamama), and Ayni (reciprocity) as sacred maps to organize our lives, tune in with our surroundings, and recover our natural rhythm.
  • Ceremonies
Sacred spaces for gratitude and energetic cleansing. We learn the profound meaning and preparation of Andean altars and ceremonies, utilizing the power of the 4 elements (earth, water, air, and fire) in connection with solstice and equinox energies to set intentions and close personal cycles.
  • Heart Ritual (Mayan Cacao)
A subtle and profound ceremony based on ancient Mayan tradition. Guided by the heartbeat of the drum, we share pure cacao medicine that opens the heart chakra, allowing for the release of emotional blockages, the activation of intuition, and a state of deep meditation and self-love.
  • Andean Herbalism
A practical workshop on medicinal botany in the mountains. We hike to identify native plants and learn their properties. We teach you the art of natural extraction so you can design your own remedies: macerates, oils, mother tinctures, and medicinal vinegars for your daily kit.
  • Organic Cosmetics
Pure alchemy for body care. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to craft 100% natural, chemical-free, and conscious hygiene and beauty products, using essential oils, local plants, and organic bases that respect both your skin and the planet.

Movement and Calm

  • Ayurveda Wellness
Traditional medicine applied to your daily life. Through an initial assessment, we discover your unique biological constitution (your dosha). With this foundation, I help you create a personalized roadmap of nutrition, food combining, and daily routines ideal for keeping your energy in balance.
  • Somatic Yoga
A practice of slow, deeply therapeutic, and conscious movement. It does not seek the perfect pose, but rather internal exploration. We focus on hydrating, releasing, and letting go of tensions and emotions trapped in the fascia, restoring agility and relief.
  • Ecstatic Dance
A somatic movement practice guided by organic music that journeys through different rhythms and intensities. It is a judgment-free space designed to quiet the mind and free the body, helping to regulate the nervous system. The experience culminates around a bonfire or in a ritual ceremony to integrate and celebrate the well-being achieved.
  • Massages for the Nervous System
The art of inhabiting inner silence. We combine guided Pranayama sessions (deep breathing techniques to immediately calm the mind) with relaxing massages specifically designed to stimulate the vagus nerve, switching off the "fight or flight" mode and switching on your body's biological regeneration.

Nature and Adventure

  • Open Water Swimming
Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of San Rafael's rivers and lakes—a revitalizing experience that awakens the body and senses. Cold, pure, and full of life, these waters hold the ancestral memories of those who inhabited these lands. Swimming in them means connecting with the strength, clarity, and deep energy of nature. We are highly experienced swimmers. Are you up for it?
  • Night Hikes and Stargazing
Under some of the clearest and most transparent skies in Argentina, we walk in silence among mountains and canyons while the stars reveal their vastness. An invitation to contemplate, slow down, and remember our place in nature. We usually end with a bonfire of gratitude.
  • Horseback Riding among Vineyards, Rivers, and Mountains
Discover San Rafael at a slow pace, traveling along trails by the river, through the native bush, and crossing vineyards that express the essence of Mendoza. For those seeking a deeper experience, we also organize guided horseback rides in the heart of the Andes Mountains. Ask us about our mountain experiences.
  • Bonfires and Circles of Gathering
The bonfire is the heart of many of our retreats. A space to gather around the fire, share stories, perform ceremonies, hold shamanic drum journeys, dine under the stars, or simply enjoy a sincere conversation. Because there are some encounters that can only happen around the fire.

We don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" retreats.

We believe in experiences that are born from each group, each moment, and each intention.
